“A small act of kindness can bring a big smile to someone’s face.”
On 31 October 2026, MUVI Foundation organised a clothes donation drive at Godibari, a tribal village near Chandaka, Bhubaneswar, where we distributed more than 350 pieces of clothing among the villagers.
This was our second visit to the village. Earlier, we had visited Godibari to distribute blankets. This time, we decided to return with clothes for men, women and children.
Our MUVI employees came forward and contributed clothes across different categories. We made sure that all the clothes were either new or in like-new condition, so that the people receiving them could wear them happily. We collected, checked and sorted the clothes before taking them to the village for distribution.
One of the most encouraging parts of this initiative was the support we received from Ms. Samita Mishra, IIC of Chandaka Police Station. When she learned about our donation drive, she was inspired by the initiative and decided to contribute clothes herself.
The village Sarpanch also helped us throughout the distribution & he was there with us throughout the event. Since many of the tribal villagers were not comfortable with the language we spoke, the Sarpanch helped us communicate with them and made the distribution easier.
It was a wonderful experience to visit the village again. Men, women, and children all came forward and happily collected clothes for themselves and their families. Seeing their happiness made the entire effort worthwhile.
We sincerely thank all MUVI employees who donated clothes and helped us collect and organise them.
Through MUVI Foundation, we hope to continue organising such activities and reach more communities where our contributions can make a difference.
Sometimes, making someone happy is as simple as sharing something we have with someone who needs it.
